Dennis, take it easy on Mr. La Salle. He is doing what he was hired to do. If you are unhappy with what he is doing, take it up with his employers. The TRSD school board has one employee -- Richard La Salle. They hired him, they direct him, and they can fire him. Apparently, they are happy with him.

If you want change, fire YOUR school board representative. Plaistow has more members than any other towns, so you people are disproportionately responsible for the mess. Jack Paone is working for us, the other two Plaistow reps work for Mr. La Salle. Replace them to begin the healing.

Lisa Withee is up for re-election in 2010 and you guys just re-elected the chair.

Plaistow is also disproportionately responsible for the performance of the budget committee (although, you have disproportionately more representatives -- Charles Balanoff, Hardave Dhaliwal -- trying to solve the problem. Of course, one of these was not elected.

You have six months to decide to help out. Find candidates to run against the incumbents you are unhappy with and let people know they need to support these candidates.
