I'll bet there's a few Plaistow Town Employees that will be scratching their heads after reading former Town Manager Scruton's statement below. Sounds good in print anyway. Ask the four lady gossipers from Hooksett's town government how free speech works in New Hampshire. I still say this was purely a men against women issue.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scruton defended the "right of any municipal employee to give their opinion on any issue," seeing how their speech is protected by the state and federal constitutions and a recent law change strengthening municipal employees' right to discuss or express their opinion on all matters concerning the government.
