THE HARD DRIVE MANUFACTURERS CHANGE THE FIRMWARE AS OFTEN AS EVERY TWO WEEKS ON SAME DRIVES. (FIRMWARE IS CODE THAT IS BURN INTO A CHIP ON THE HARD DRIVE MOTHER BOARD.
