Actually, a lot of what I concentrated on was the skin under the pantyhose. It did occur to me that the reason Claire's skin looked blurred was because I was seeing it through pantyhose, and the pantyhose may be a different brand than Darling's, but I still think the reason is that part of the leg is just forward of the forward edge of the depth of field. And yes, the lighting is different. You had a secondary light behind you when you shot Darling that you didn't have shooting Claire.
