Okay, here's the close-up shot with FM's lights and camera, for comparison with the other shot that was via a Mavica. FM's lamps throw a lot less light, but it didn't seem to be a problem here. I do notice that the closet in the background is not in focus though.

This would've been shot with me probably crouching very low, or kneeling and bending over. FM's camera has to be held against the eye. Which I hate because my eyes aren't very good any more. But the pics still came out fine:
