13 Reacher novels down..what to read next???

Having started reading the Reacher series not so long ago I've just finished Gone Tomorrow which was the last one I had to read!Now I dunno what to read and was wondering if anyone had some good suggestions? My favs are always crime/combat thrillers but I'm thinking I might change genres but to what I dont know. So I guess I'm asking 2 questions...
1. Has anyone read a genre they really didnt expect theyd like but ended up liking it very much?
And 2. If so,is there any books that ye could suggest from a different genre?
