I have just joined up in the QC area. It will be a challenge.

After soul searching and looking at the various things I have done over the years I determined that my background in Journalism, art and photography, broadcast radio, being a house husband, and work with both the mentally impaired and the elderly would at least partially prepare me. The last thought that entered into making my decision to join up was the conversation with my dad before he died in that he had said that there were times you will be called by God to use your skills in ways that may not make total sense, would be difficult, but would make an impact. He told me that even if I did not understand it some day in the future it would to someone else.

While not everyone can do this I felt that my dad commissioned me to become part of the system.
